Yeah! we've seen the finalists sing from British albums, we shall now commence our comments!! Somehow the idols in this show didn't seem to be at their best. I supported Jasmine since... err .. can't remember but she certainly picked the wrong song. Probably Rahimah would have done better in that but Jasmine's looks and personality didn't fit very well with the genre of the song. I'm sure some may find that that comment was biased..hahas cant help it. Then we move on to.. Jay. . .His voice definitely sounded natural and I think that was the first time he actually matched his voice so perfectly with the song he chose.. Unfortunately I couldn't help noticing that he looked somewhat like one of those chinese pop star singers. Still, if Jasmine didn't exist, I would vote for him after Jonathan, ,,,, who has a voice i cannot criticize, and one thing in tonights show that caused the negative comments from the judges was that some of them had decided to "try out" kinds of song they had never sung before. I guess its good to be flexible,, but shouldn't they realize that the song doesn't work out before they perform?
Still ecstatic that i had met the finalists last saturday during the NDP preview.. as one od those in the show, we were stationed in the indoor stadium and received a visit from them. only thing was that our seats were high up and they were down giving out autographed
notebooks to the Nan Hua students. We still managed to come into close proximity of about less tham 1 metre after the show. ... well dont think I'm one of those people always crazy about their idols, cause I'm not. I think there are definitely other talented people around, just that they don't get the chance to promote their talent.
