Ok so the class forum is finally done, and I have received the privelege of not having the power to administrate it. I dont feel like moderating anymore, I'm gonna finish my project, I dont wanna get fired. Ulead VideoStudio 10 is much more user-friendly than moviemaker, just like comparing Photoshop and Freehand. Do you agree that life is boring without games? Do you agree that boredom can kill? I've not seriously played any games for 7 months. I'm alive and typing, surviving on music, passion for dragging the brush around in Photoshop, snipping the ends of videos, making noise with wooden sticks, exposing myself to radiation from those puny devices people use to call one another.

I realised after quitting games for the exams last year, I became more productive. But life became boring. Whats the use then, exerting my brain cells to study whenever possible, resisting the temptation of downloading games because of my fast internet speed, to be typing such a post like this?

ok... everyone has blogged about recruits, I better do mine.. Alvin's post was somewhat short, Wenjie as usual, describes and narrates the whole story, most of it was about how he screwed up. Read his blog if you wanna know about his life. Lijia talked about the boys and all that. Nat is probably too traumatized to blog. I'm typing.

Recruits camp was extremely well planned, but rushly executed. It was sort of slack, since it was for the sec 1s.. and reminded me of LDC 2 where there were lessons all the time. The boys in my squad.

Jeremy - The guy who was sort of a loner, coz almost everyone else was from the same class, I wouldnt blame him. He was a rather helpful guy, volunteered for everything, like carrying logistics for the squad, we wasnt very irritating or noisy either. But too quiet, he could have tried to mix.

Jia Hua - The person I stayed away most from, I got Billy to distract him at the back. Apart from dirty jokes and random, lame replies and comments, his irritating was the talk, not the actions, which I was quite relieved for. He almost completed the hike though, took the safety car at Clementi, which was really such a waste. At least this batch of sec 1s didnt abuse the safety car like last year... If Jia Hua does mature, he could be in one of the top positions in BB, by reserving certain comments for himself.

Zhe Hui - The boy whose name I kept forgetting, the boy who kept reminding me that I kapt forgetting his name. I got everyone's name by the end of the hike, however. He wasnt one of the very prominent boys who would capture my attention, not very outstanding, but he's quite sociable with the rest of the squad. He didnt give me any probs, except constantly asking me what his name was.

Jonathan - He has the most potential as a leader, I may see him as a COS or CSM soon.. He does take initiative sometimes, and kept trying to take over my lead in the hike,, haha, but he does know a lot about these stuff like hiking and field cooking, and shares his knowledge. His knots were perfect, and always one of the first to teach the others who didnt know. He also help me a lot in controlling the boys, like my automatic loud speaker when I tried to shout but had a sore throat. Yeah he sort of hanged around me. I have to admit I tried to be interesting to success.

Jun Hao - Another guy who seemed to have memorized his whole stack of adventure notes. I cant say much about him, except that he looked like the AQ type, quite a typical sec 1, and reminded me of myself when I was sec 1. Coincidentally his hairstyle was similar to mine to a certain extent, but wdv...

Jun Rong - Someone I would consider nominating for best boy.. He help to carry a lot of stuff, and was one of the less "making silly comments" persons. He got carried away sometimes around the others though, everyone does, even me.

Christopher - A quiet person, but chatty when talking to me. A memorized the notes boy and seemed to know everything about every sec 1 in BB. I wouldnt reveal too much of them.. Nothing much to say about him, liked to stay in the middle.

Now on to the puny.. oops, smaller ones,..
Joel - Average BB boy, quiet when he he didnt know the rest of the squad well. He was hanging around the other little people. A very quick learner when I demonstrated the knots. Like me during my recruits hike " Dont complain or talk so much, just follow the squad leader and walk, how difficult can it be" kind of person.

Wen Hui - Omg I have to admit he was quite cute. haha I dont usually say this kind of thing.. Cant really say much, definitely not the kind who will annoy others.

Overall I think my squad was the best, even thought not the first. Clemence got pissed off by his, one guy claimed persistently that he knew holland very well, they ended up wasting 15 mins, they werent even supposed to go in. Mence later made them all super scared of him and they ran until they regain 1st position. I think they're still scared of him after he apologized. Then Nat's squad.. HAHAHAHAHA.. Nat's squad.. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.... Apparently, there was a guy, I shant reveal his name who liked to "touch" other guys. Christopher who knew a lot about him said Ms Lily was quite fed up with him in classes. He was following Nat through almost the whole hike and singing songs like Barney and Teletubbies.. did I spell it correctly? Then he put him arm around Nat and said, "I heard you are taken.. who is it?" Then Nat was like.." umm... your hand.." okie Nat if you want me to take this down I will... And then Caleb's squad, he was at Bukit Batok when I was nearing Singapore Poly from Clementi..

Some random stuff.. I screwed up a drum fill-in during worship. Mac when the boys were asleep after the hike. I had photos of the map in my iPod. I think I sprained a knuckle, I dunno how.

I've found a new way to entertain myself!.. There's a game in my ipod, u know the one where you control a bar and keep hitting a ball upwards to destroy coloured blocks??.. haha, I'm now at a super high level..

Okie, so I've started using firefox and changed my skin to a much, simpler one.

Now back to my topic, I realised that different parts of the bar will cause the ball to go in different directions, like if the ball hits the center, it's rebounding angle from the normal will the equal to the original angle at which the ball attacked th normal. If it hits the bar at 1/4 from the left or right, the rebounding angle from the normal will be the original angle from the normal plus half of it in the same direction. Therefore,

If the angle at which the ball hits the bar from the normal is x,

The rebounding angle from the normal is y,

The distance from the center at which the ball hits the bar is z in terms of fraction of the bar's length,

Hitting the center,

x = y,

Hitting 1/4 from the left or right,

x + 1/2x = -y,

I hereby conclude that,

x + 2xz = -y,

y = -x - 2xz,

for the case of the ball hitting the same side of the bar as it's direction,

and,

y = x + 2xz,

for the case of the ball hitting the opposite side of the bar of it's direction,


Summarizing, the angle from the normal at which it rebounds is equals to the negative of the addition of the angle at which the ball hits the bar from the normal and the double of the product of the angle at which the ball hits the bar from the normal and the distance from the center at which the ball hits the bar in terms of fraction of the bar's length in the case of the ball hitting the same side of the bar as it's direction. The angle from the normal at which it rebounds is equals to the addition of the angle at which the ball hits the bar from the normal and the double of the product of the angle at which the ball hits the bar from the normal and the distance from the center at which the ball hits the bar in terms of fraction of the bar's length.

So if a mathematical genius comes across this post and understands it, he will be able to own the game by applying the formula in approximately half a second to every single time the ball rebounds,,

I felt drastically poor after today, I guess I wont be buying anything until Sitex...

So yesterday was the recruits camp hike recee, quite fun, I havent been on a hike for a very long time, but it wasnt very long, abt 23km, and we took 3 buses to skip some familiar routes. It was a double lucky day yesterday, we saw 2 Lamborghinis and the same time, I have the photos, haha.. That was sort of a first time, excluding those test drive areas where all the cars are the same colour and model. Then we saw a Porsche with a lot of stickers and a spoiler.. I hate Porsches with spoilers, they look crappily disgusting. Nothing really much happened later on, except that I held my bladder for a few hours.

My mum has a friend whos a doctor, like, doctorate on literature. She's not married. Haa.. I gues I don't want to be a doctor if I cant enjoy my life.. the marraige thing was just an example.. Imagine studying until you are 30, 3 years degree, 1 year honours, masters and professionalism. I'm okay with a masters, since NS already wastes 2 years of my life..

Anyway I'm quite to have a holiday, finally, of a day, tomorrow. At least, half a day. After that I have 3 days to finish the impossible to count homework. A lot of remedials and lessons, a space science course and another camp. I don't really look forward to holidays...

I've just started listening to a new song - 100 years by FFF, and dedicated it on 98.7 last night 9:45 om, only 1 person other than me heard it, which was quite surprising, but relieving.. Today was fun, school was quite slack, and I stalked some stalkers who couldnt find the person who they were stalking. And I heard about DSAs and I'm considering them, though it will be difficult... I would probably take H3 physics if I can, H2 chem and maths, H1 economics or geog, that is, if I even get into a JC.

Seems now there's now an aNonYMous who has a IQ much higher than mine coz i couldnt even solve my own code, or decoders exist in the net or something.. Let's see,, I can deduce

1. This person is from school

2. He is most probably a guy who hates me for the whatever I mentioned in the previous post with the coded message

3. Or probably a girl who hates the girl in the coded message, thus saying, you just have to remember me, but I'm trying to rule this out coz I have stalkerphobia

4. Or a guy with the same above condition and is a homosexual, this is either highly impossible or I'm deceiving myself and will transfer to a girl's school immediately.
