The national Bible Quiz competition in Boon Lay sec.. And finally.. my team won,, and that was the last time I could take part too.. It was really unexpected,, during the prize presentation, I knew my team members knew that we couldnt win anything beacuse ACSI got 4th place and top 3 was thought impossible.. Then we founf out that we received the 3rd place.. Victoria was 1st, followed by Raffles. That was probably the first time our BB company got into the top 3 since about 10 years ago when a team got the 1st place... It was really thanks to the pastor who trained us... and also we couldn't have done it without God. He was with us all the way. We prayed before and after every segment, making sure that we inquired of him in everything we did. I realised it was not a show of the characters we studied that we had to put up, it was real. We knew God was with us throughout the whole competition. So thanks Yihern, Jazmon and Alex for being such hardworking and cooperative teammates. . . I feel that me being the leader was just to represent the team, but we won the 3rd place together.

Today some trainer came for study skills and asked us to choose a university that we were planning to go to... and he listed down about 12 universities... all famous.. Of course I would wish to go to one of them but, after thinking about it, probably it would be almost impossible. These universities take in thousands of students every year, and in my year, there are thousands of people academically better than me... and obviously there would be other countries too... Every trainer that goes in there say aim high... but now they are like saying, aim impossible.. Even if I signed up for architecture which requires no requirements, there would be tons of people who have better presentation and folios...
Well I'm not trying to be pessimistic or anything... but it really is not possible...

I suppose I wont be going for that study skills thing, what for learn how to study when doing that would waste 3 days of my holidays, then I wouldnt have time to apply those skills to study anyways. I rather study my own way.

Definitely I found it funny, like, who wouldn't.. but also I suppose security systems should be fair, an american has a chance of being a terrorist just as much as an... well.. a guy wearing wierd hats and robes... hahas... The Chasers have many other clips, go find them, but be warned, that clip is the only one I found so far without vulgarities so...

And the week of holiday didnt seem to be enough.. So much homework,, so much to revise.. then before I can finish studying the teacher would start another topicc,, then more to do. I had to start my holiday with miniature cams stuck through my nostrils to my throat,, then had a srynge of blood sucked out of my arm.. Now I have to take steroids and antibiotics,, and I cant cycle... perhaps its a good thing,, now I have more time to study,, haha. How encouraging... holidays are not meant for us to enjoy, but to take a break from school so that we can study.,,,
And I found out the disadvantage of having teachers as parents,, that they would know everything happening in MOE, which also affects my school. So I cant keep them unupdated. And they managed to print exam papers from their school!! Yay... more work to do.. Good luck to myself...
